The final eKYC deadline ended on 30 April 2026 and no new date has been officially announced since. Viral “eKYC restarted” messages were clarified as not official in September 2026. Any new date will appear on the official website.
What is Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC? | eKYC म्हणजे काय?
eKYC म्हणजे आधार क्रमांक आणि OTP च्या मदतीने लाभार्थीची ओळख ऑनलाइन तपासणे. महिला व बाल विकास विभागाने 18 सप्टेंबर 2025 रोजी शासन निर्णय काढून eKYC बंधनकारक केली. या निर्णयानुसार eKYC दरवर्षी करावी लागणार आहे.
अपात्र व्यक्तींना जाणारा लाभ थांबवणे हा यामागचा उद्देश आहे. तपासणीत सुमारे 26 लाख संशयित अपात्र लाभार्थी आढळले होते.
eKYC confirms a beneficiary’s identity online using her Aadhaar number and an OTP. The Women and Child Development Department made it mandatory through a Government Resolution on 18 September 2025, and the same order says it must be repeated every year. The aim is to stop payments to ineligible people; scrutiny had flagged about 26 lakh suspected ineligible beneficiaries.

Ladki Bahin Yojana KYC Documents | eKYC साठी काय लागते?
- स्वतःचा आधार क्रमांक (your Aadhaar number)
- आधारशी जोडलेला मोबाईल नंबर, OTP साठी (mobile number linked to your Aadhaar, for the OTP)
- पती किंवा वडिलांचा आधार क्रमांक आणि त्याला जोडलेला मोबाईल (husband’s or father’s Aadhaar number and the mobile linked to it)
- जात प्रवर्गाची माहिती (your caste category)
पती किंवा वडील हयात नसतील किंवा घटस्फोट झाला असेल तर महिलेने स्वतःची eKYC करून मृत्यू प्रमाणपत्र, घटस्फोट प्रमाणपत्र किंवा न्यायालयाच्या आदेशाची सत्यप्रत जमा करायची, अशी तरतूद नोव्हेंबर 2025 मध्ये जाहीर झाली.
No paper upload is needed for the normal eKYC. If the husband or father has died, or the woman is divorced, the provision announced in November 2025 was to complete her own eKYC and then submit a verified copy of the death certificate, divorce certificate or court order.
Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC Process – Step by Step | kyc प्रक्रिया
- अधिकृत वेबसाइट उघडा आणि e-KYC बॅनरवर क्लिक करा. (Open the official website and click the e-KYC banner.)
- आधार क्रमांक आणि Captcha टाका, संमती द्या आणि Send OTP दाबा. (Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha, give consent and click Send OTP.)
- आधार-लिंक मोबाईलवर आलेला OTP टाकून Submit करा. (Enter the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile and submit.)
- eKYC आधीच झाली असेल तर “e-KYC आधीच पूर्ण झाली आहे” असा संदेश दिसतो. (If it is already done, the portal says so.)
- पती किंवा वडिलांचा आधार क्रमांक टाका, OTP घ्या आणि Submit करा. (Enter your husband’s or father’s Aadhaar number, get the OTP and submit.)
- जात प्रवर्ग निवडा. (Select your caste category.)
- दोन घोषणा काळजीपूर्वक वाचा: कुटुंबात कोणी कायम सरकारी कर्मचारी किंवा पेन्शनधारक नाही; कुटुंबातील फक्त 1 विवाहित आणि 1 अविवाहित महिला लाभ घेत आहे. (Read the two declarations carefully: no permanent government employee or pensioner in the family; only one married and one unmarried woman in the family takes the benefit.)
- चेकबॉक्सवर टिक करून Submit दाबा. “Success – तुमची e-KYC पडताळणी यशस्वीरित्या पूर्ण झाली आहे” असा संदेश आला की प्रक्रिया पूर्ण. (Tick the checkbox and submit. The Success message means your eKYC is complete.)

Government statements name only the official website for eKYC, and no separate Ladki Bahin Yojana KYC app has been announced. A woman can do it on her own phone or with help from her Anganwadi sevika; no middleman is needed, as Minister Tatkare said in April 2026. The government has not announced any fee for eKYC.

The Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC last date moved from 18 November 2025 to 31 December 2025 and finally to 30 April 2026. About 62 lakh women who never completed eKYC lost the benefit after that, according to Minister Tatkare in July 2026. The order says eKYC is yearly, but the eKYC date for the next round has not been officially announced.

Enter your Aadhaar number and OTP in the eKYC form again. If your eKYC is complete, the portal shows the message “e-KYC आधीच पूर्ण झाली आहे” (already completed). This check works only while the eKYC link is open.

The eKYC link is closed right now and no new deadline has been announced. On 21 May 2026 the government said documents are not being accepted at district offices. In June 2026 Chief Minister Fadnavis hinted at another chance, but no order or date has followed. If you completed eKYC and your payment still stopped (see how to check payment status), register a complaint on 181; Minister Tatkare said in July 2026 that such cases are being re-verified.
Beware of Fake eKYC Links | बनावट लिंकपासून सावध रहा
eKYC च्या नावाने बनावट वेबसाइट्स आणि व्हायरल लिंक फिरत असतात. सप्टेंबर 2025 मध्ये अशी एक बनावट साइट उघडकीस आली होती. पत्त्यात maharashtra.gov.in नसेल तर आधार क्रमांक, OTP किंवा बँकेची माहिती टाकू नका.
Fake websites and viral links appear in the name of eKYC; one such site was reported in September 2025. If the address does not contain maharashtra.gov.in, do not enter your Aadhaar number, OTP or bank details.
